One rumour is that Luton might use some of the Oak Road end to house home fans for the second leg of the replay in order to accommodate as many home fans as possible - I'm not sure how true that is - or how practical, but it could impact on how many tickets are available to Diamonds fans. How many season ticket holders / Trust members do we have ?

I don't know what everyones worried about! KC has seen every game this season, i assume, and he knows nearly as well as JEMS that we do better away from home, so he's just helping us by selling most oif the ground to Lootun fans ;)

Never underestimate our wonderful chairman :D

Given that NP's capacity is 6553, you reckon we'd be able to sell 4000 home tickets??? Not a chance in hell !! We can't even sell out half the ground for Saturday's game !!

Capacity is 6441 Jim http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/Buyin ... 84,00.html, I expect it's all that exaggerating to the missus
Hmmmm, it just felt like 6553 while I was cleaning the feckers last year :D Dunno why I thought that, I'm sure I read that figure somewhere..............oh well, lets put it down to me getting older eh?

That would be NAWTY, we'd get our ticket fees back in airborne 1 and 2p coins. :D

IIRC a few years ago the number 6635 used to get bandied about but 6441 is definitely the current official capacity.

Can only assume the ground got re-inspected and the capacity of the DeBanke was reduced?

It's been 6441 for over 10 years IIRC.

The attendance in the Leeds game was 6431, so that sounds likely.

AK is correct, the published capacity of the ground always used to be 6635 in my first few seasons of supporting the club. Like Pigman, I've also seen 6553 used by some sources, although not for some time. It must have been around the time of the Leeds game that the official capacity changed to 6441, although interestingly there were 6472 tickets on sale for that game (all of which were sold) which meant 31 people either forgot or got struck down with a sudden illness!

Don't ask me how I remember that though, but I can assure you it's true!

Duncan Adam's Football Ground Guide has always quoted 6441 even when we in the league:-

unless the seats are numbered don't you have to not sell 10% due to safety?
