No surprises there. Clearly the water had no where to go. Let's hope for a big crowd when the match is rearranged for a balmy Tuesday evening in April. ;)

Fine with me, can't say I was looking forward to another freezing Tuesday night game. 16th/23rd April will be much nicer, although I'd say by then promotion might have been decided.

I know we wanted to play but I think it would have been b****y miserable for the fans with the predicted cold temperatures tonight. I don't think Eynesbury would have brought many supporters so the crowd may have been one of the lowest for us this season. Maybe a blessing in disguise to allow all of our players with knocks to recover.

Couldn't agree more, Paul.Trek wrote:I know we wanted to play but I think it would have been b****y miserable for the fans with the predicted cold temperatures tonight. Also, McBride should be available for the re-arranged match, although he will now miss the Sileby game.

I'm gutted! I can't normally make Tuesday night matches, but was free for this one. Can't believe it's off!!!

Doughboys match on Saturday was off. We've had snow since. The water has no where to go with the normal high water table at the Dog n' Duck. I'm surprised anyone thought it might be on.ChorltonV wrote: Can't believe it's off!!!
Heavy rain forecast for Saturday so wouldn't surprise me if the Whitworths fixture succumbs to the weather. :(
