I don't use facebook so cannot comment if the person is really a boardmember of WTFC or not or just someone stirring it.
Again i find it strange as both our clubs agreed the works as we are sharing costs or is it a board member out voted.
i'm not to sure about ground grading applying only to new clubs, i think the F.A are getting more strict on grading and maybe a few old guard club officials may get a shock when the F.A stop turning the other cheek and relegate some after March 2014 for not complaying fully with the grades.
EDIT. Just saw Davealbons response, which seems to confirm the F.A will get tough

Whats the deal with the Dog & Duck? Surely spending all this money will just turn out to be wasted once we leave?

Re: New fence at the ground
Good god just read the UCL thread, is that the consensus from their committee and board, ie put up with us through gritted teeth etc.
I don't want to be too rude towards them, but if it wasn't for us I would guess WTFC would be in big trouble and on the brink of extinction again.
I just don't get their (his) attitude, this arrangement benefits us both, and some might say actually benefits them more
Not wasted as it has allowed us to play senior saturday football this year, and that is priceless.

There's no telling how long we'll be playing at the Dog n' Duck so it's hardly wasted money. It's a bit like renting a property for a few years, you might as well make it as comfortable whilst you are there. The PDB terrace can be removed. I can see us reaching the Southern League before we have our ground in the Rushden area.Frogerz wrote:Whats the deal with the Dog & Duck? These are ground grading requirements for us and Wellingborough to be able to play at our levels next season, I would say thats money well spent.Frogerz wrote:Whats the deal with the Dog & Duck? Surely spending all this money will just turn out to be wasted once we leave?
Ok so we can't take half the fence with us when we leave but if it has allowed us to move up in the league system again surely thats money well spent.

If we were not at Wellingboro they would have to put up even more fencing because the De banke would not be there
