Revised attendances now all our league matches have been completed.
We have played 36 league matches and have attracted a total attendance of 18768 for these games.
Our average home attendance is 544 and our average away attendance is 499. Combined average for all matches is 521.
Our average home attendance for Saturday matches and the match played on New Year's Day is 631, whilst our average home attendance for Tuesday evenings is 475.
It will be interesting to see how much these attendance figures increase when we play in the UCL Premier division next season and have two 'ground share' derby matches with the Doughboys and the travelling massive from teams such as S & L Corby and Ar Tarn. ;)

I don't think next seasons attendances will be that much higher unless we are near the top of the league. There will still be very little away support at the Dog and Duck and I don't think as many of our supporters will travel the greater distances plus I would imagine some of the away fixtures might even be midweek fixtures...now there's a novelty..and we wont have as many local derbies.

I personally feel that many of the fans have brought into the idea of watching our club home and away, in fact, much more than they did watching RDFC. All new grounds to visit as well, apart from Yaxley and Sileby Rangers, of course.
If we are there or about and challenging at the sharp end of the league then I expect to see an improvement and have noticed quite a few new faces over the last 4-6 weeks and hope they will continue to watch us from the start of next season.
Isn't it exciting? ;)

With the exception of the still to be played Wootton / Oadby game, the final attendance stats for all of UCL1 are now included in the stats on the OWS -
http://www.afcdiamonds.com/summary-stats-2012-13
My suspicions for the Wootton - Sileby game that I went to in April were confirmed, with the paying crowd listed as 12 - and given there were four or five Diamonds fans there, it doesn't suggest the Sileby fans travelled too well. ;)

The attendance stats on mitoo still include an audience of 521 for Olney Town v Thrapston

You've obviously obtained a more realistic figure for our site.

Our average league attendance is 49th best in the non-league beaten by only two Southern League clubs, Weymouth and marginally by the League Champions, Leamington.

One minor change to mention is that the attendance for our game at Northampton Spencer was revised up to 814 from 812.

OK, who went home early?
Was one Joe Merrill?
