I don't think any team really takes it that seriously. League Cups are a bit pointless IMO. Oadby took it quite seriously last season and ultimately it cost them promotion due to fixture congestion.

In a way I hope we do go out of this pointless exercise. I would take the leagues fixtures over this tournament anyday. We already have a backlog of fixtures building up without having to add more to the list, the league must take priority imo...
