Didn't I see they signed a bunch of new players very recently, who looked reasonable on paper (I.e. Not just U18s!)? Rebuilding not going to well in UCL1?
Looking at the players who have started games for them this season the has been a few changes from August to now, though one thing has remained constant through this period of time.
They still loose ever week.

From the most recent UCL Newsletter (published at the start of September) - notice there is one familiar name there -
Austin in at Woodford
Woodford have handed Mitch Austin the manager’s post at Byfield Road. He enjoyed a successful spell as Bugbrooke ‘A’ team manager last season and briefly assisted Badgers first team boss Paul Field before leaving Birds Close in pre season. He has also run Sunday side Loko Moulton.
Paul Adams will assist Austin with Chopper Thomas taking a fitness coach role.
Austin has recruited a number of players from Bugbrooke including midfielders Richard Pannell, Chris Moore, and Chris Fury, Steve Grimley who will skipper the side from defence and striker Dan Brown while other new faces are midfielder Dale Spick from Whitworth and defender Dan Carter from Coventry United, who have also lost midfielder Karlo Morgan to the new look Reds
Defender Craig Fowkes from Hardingstone, Delapre striker Charlie Whiting and experienced midfielder Ricky Smith from Sunday football are other new recruits. Another new face in the Byfield Road ranks is goalkeeper Dom Roggero who signed from Desborough while chairman Andy Worrall was in caretaker charge of the side.
After conceding thirteen goals in their first two matches of the season, Austin has generated an improvement in performances although losing his first two games in charge to Potton 4-0 and Oadby 3-0.
Putting last season with this Woodford have now played 50 consecutive league defeats.
Goals for 24
Goals against 219.
I think we may win this one!
The likelihood of us losing is akin to the Premier League banning the signing of overseas players.
UKIP winning the most seats in the 2015 election.
Me winning £5,000,000 on the lottery....I don't buy tickets.
Jake Newman scoring a hat trick in his next three games...or in any game come to that.
Paolo Di Canio getting sacked after just 5 games this season.
I think the way Woodford are at the moment, you could not turn up and still win.
On paper they look formiddable with 77 players signed on, but that is as a result of having 3 managers already this season, who had to sign players on to enable them to play.
In reality they only have about 20 players and are still finding their feet.
My lad (who terrorised your U18 team 2 seasons back in a 3-2 win at Woodford) isn't playing footie at present, so you won't have to worry about him!!
