Well it did for us, just that we couldn't sustain a club at the higher level without the money.
But money did not bring automatic success for us even with all the money it still took a few seasons.

The club finished third in its first ever season, won the league the next and won promotion again in two years.
Yes there was some stagnation in the middle, but there is no doubting that the money instantly transformed us from two struggling clubs going nowhere into a success.

I'm not sure I thought he was underrated tbh! I thought he was a very good player, and I was disappointed he left. Did he go to Aldershot for their first season in the league?
