The league can't suddenly decide that promotion will not apply I don't understand why you suggest this. It is clearly stated in the handbook that promotion will be achieved by the top 2 in Division 1

All i was doing was responding to others on this forum who suggested that the UCL should have a 22/20 split to even up the matches, Now to do this you have to Restructure either by another team moved from another League or as also suggested promote Eyenbury who finished 3rd. So basically the UCL handbook is torn up anyway and the F.A is now involved with moving teams so basically its a restructure which in theory could override the final League positions and in the F.A 's great wisdom may decide that they like a 20/22 split better in the UCL.

Now i am not suggestng they would ever do this because it would cause great unrest but with the F.A involved never, never assume what will happen and for suggesting that all teams finish the season together on a set date well that's very radical thinking :o and not something that the world is ready for at the present.

So in a nutshell and my final attempt at explaining myself people should never suggest meddling with a system that has worked fairly OK for years because some brightspark may just upset the applecart by doing the opposite of what others think best.
