2-1 now, seems we haven't learned how to kill off games yet.

Good to get off to a win, but agree about killing sides off - we have to learn to do that !!

First game of the season an away win. I'll settle for that.

3 points and win to start off, but a worryingly familiar story in the second half, we could and probably should have been out of sight by the time they scored, yet despite our dominance throughout, we then find ourselves in danger of dropping points at the end, we can't afford to do that regularly again this season.
1st half performance was good I thought, Dunks and Faz look like a great partnership up front again, Lamb-Johnson had a good game, very tricky player and it made a nice change to see a defender (i.e. Dolman) in this league actually try to find players up the field and not just hoof into no mans land and he made some good passes. Early days of course, but we'll need to play for 90 minutes in the future if we want to be challenging at the top of this league.

Many more performances like tonight, especially in the 2nd half we are going to be hard pushed to win this league.

Yes made hard work of it, but when I saw no natural full-backs in our line-up I did worry we were in for a tough night. The wind made it difficult for us in the 2nd half (as it did them in the first) but there were some positives - Dolman was a class act, Fazel put in a strong all-round performance and Lamb-Johnson was excellent; showed plenty of intent & played with a lot of heart, forcing the Harborough players into a bit of indiscipline. Relief to get off the mark with a win and hopefully it'll give us some confidence to kick on and play with a bit more authority over the full 90 mins.

Good 3 points, I agree with you all we need to learn how to kill off games, (can't afford to many slip ups) Hope Holbeach drops points tomorrow.

Should have been out of sight by 65 minutes and at least 4-0 up, which our play thoroughly deserved up to that stage in the match but once again sloppiness and a consolation goal from our hosts meant it was squeaky bum time for the last 10 minutes. Clearly Peaksie didn't want to risk Sam Brown after Saturday's knock and apart from his omission and Parky's inclusion it was the starting line up that I was predicting.
