Could be heading for a replay I feel, quite a few chances going our way it seems but not quite converting them.

#favase is trending on twitter! And it looks like Oadby v Sileby maybe finishing 2-2, so both teams have met their match by the looks of things, could be tight at the top this season and we'll do well if we can compete with these 2.

You have to say it was a much deserved win in the end. We were poor in the first half and couldn't have complained if we'd have gone in 3-0 down. Also Aynsley McDonald should have walked for a diabolical challenge but 1-1 at HT (and 11 men) gave us a great chance in the second half.
From the minute the ref blew his whistle to resume it was near total domination from Diamonds, I didn't think a goal was going to come until eventually a brave challenge from Morgan on the keeper at the death saw the ball squirm free, allowing Morgan (my MOM) to head in. From where I was stood they could have no complaints, it's no exaggeration to say their keeper was about 6'6 and his attempt to catch the ball was half-arsed to say the least. I almost felt a bit sorry for him at the end because he'd had a decent game. ;) It was refreshing that the ref didn't blow his whistle for a foul - which would normally be the case when anybody so much as breathes on a goalkeeper.
Also, the Sileby-Oadby score is good news for us IMO!
