It's a NHS medical centre and is built on land owned by HSBC Developments, which was previously earmarked for the aborted Cinema and Health Club etc facility.BartonRaz wrote:What is it?
How much benefit, from a financial point of view to the Club, remains to been seen but will obviously depend on what services we would wish or could provide to patients and other visitors to the centre.

I work for the Trust who are having this new facility, personally I think if there is any money to be made, the Trust will need it.

In addition to that, someone suggested moving the club shop somewhere else (possibly to the Seasons Bistro, although KC did say that he was considering re-opening it at some point) and opening a franchise in place of it, something along the lines of a Costa Coffee or similar. With nowhere else doing food/drinks within reasonable walking distance of the new NHS centre, this could become a decent money spinner for the club.Mad Dog wrote:KC said they'd use part of our car parking for it at the fans forum.
