As you may be aware some of the Forum members contributed various amounts towards the sponsorship of Craig Farrell for the 2009/10 season. One of the benefits of being a sponsor was to receive the players shirt at the presentation evening last Friday. In order to determine who should have the shirt I asked for a volunteer to help draw a name from the hat and Supersub kindly volunteered.
I am pleased to announce that the winner is Mac who I have contacted separately to arrange collection. Someone had suggested that the shirt be auctioned to raise funds for sponsorship for the next season but this will be a matter for the winner to decide.
Regardless of the above I would like to co-ordinate another Player Sponsorship for the 2010/11 season and as soon as I have more details of who the players are likely to be I will post a call for contributors as I did last year. I don't know if the prices will be the same but just to remind people the amount to sponsor a players home shirt this year was £402.50
