23 man squad thread

Post by TheIncognitoKid »

Theo's not been included in the 23 man squad, nor has Darren Bent. Don't think either did good enough against Japan, bit shocked about Walcott being left out, but i think we've got better wide men in Lennon, Cole and SWP!

Heskey brings the best out of Rooney and Gerrard by creating space for them, Rooney scores alot more goals playing alongside Heskey!

He'll be ok against the likes of Slovenia and Algeria, but not in the later stages. There's not much between him and Bent, but i bet Bent must ask what more can i do!?

tbh im gutted .............

think dale really deserved a place ;)

suprised by walcott. but as said i think we have better players in that pos.
and to think he got in last wc squad for doing nothing now hes got 4 years more experience and has had a good season and hes out!
think that shows we now have a manager who knows what hes doing......well i hope he does!

pleased to see joe cole and swp in though thought they both looked good sun
as for bent. hasnt done enough for me in an england shirt, as much of a donkey heskey can be, when alongside rooney for england he gives us another option up front
its not about individual players we gotta get them playing as a team!

brilliant that Joe Cole is in the team, he looked like a real game changer when we played japan.

Ferdinand looks to be out injured, hurt in training. Dawson is on standby.

Terry/King or Terry/Carragher? I'd prefer King but he might not be able to play every game. Terry/Carragher would be slaughtered when they played against anyone with pace. Dawson obviously would be fourth choice, though I'd rather play him than either.
One Dale Roberts. Never forgotten. R.I.P.

Ferdinand is definitely out now, imo not a great loss. JT and King will do just a good job as Ferdinand, and Dawson can do too.
