Re: Jamie Day..
That's a great signing, he's young, but earned some great experience at Peterborough, bit of a coup that signing I reckon - well done Justin.

Re: Jamie Day..
I got confused there for a second.
Got Jamie Day mixed up with Joe Day and thought it said he had signed for Peterborough... was then confused to why DF was happy.

Oh and back on topic - looks like a fantastic signing!
Although I don't like that final picture on the OWS. Not only does he look almost identical to Kelly, but it looks like Kelly has just taken the ball past him. ;)

Re: Jamie Day..
I can't actually believe we have signed him. A quality player.

Re: Jamie Day..
You know what's coming from me ;) ....
he always has been my first choice lower league left back on FM for the last few years, he's very pacey and sound technically. A lot of my mates support Posh and I went quite a bit in the glory days and he was quality. He has had a major injury recently I think, hopefully that hasn't ruined him as a player.
Will be interesting to where he fits in. Will he replace Robbo? Will he play left wing? Will he play instead of Osano at CB? Certainly gives us options!

Re: Jamie Day..
I told my best mate, who's a Posh season ticket holder and his first reaction was:
'you're f*cking joking mate?'
apparently he'd still play Day as a first choice left back in League 1 but apparently he's a bit injury prone. Apparently he started left midfield, but then converted to being a left back, and his words, he will 'arserape' the Conference ;)

Re: Jamie Day..
have spoken to a few Posh supporting family/work colleagues and got the following replies.....:-
"quality until he was injured"
"left back or left winger, better on the wing"
"absolutely quality set piece delivery"
"if you can keep him fit, he'll be quality at that level"
"very injury prone, and a bit light weight, but different class with the ball at his feet"
so, where will he fit in??
i for one would like to see him on the left wing, with Tommo being given a role (possibly in tandem with Keehan) behind one main striker.
