Sherlock Holmes meets CSI

Post by woody »

BBC1 & HD Sunday

Looks like one to watch, as Holmes & Watson are now in the 21st Century.

Brilliant 90 minutes.

The updating was superb..............especially the throw away line "its a three patch problem" - When Holmes was thinking, and thought it very bad to Smoke...........so he uses Nico Patches instead!

Can't wait for next episodes

Said firmly tongue in cheek mate - I watched first 20 mins then was very disappointed so switched off.

Mind you, despite or perhaps because of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, Top Gear, especially the Senna piece at the end, was the best TV of the year so far. I would urge you to watch it on iPlayer.

Watched in HD on the iPlayer (go I love my iMac) and I thought it was brilliant.

The Senna piece on TG is also a must see.

TBH mate, I wouldn't haven turned the tv on if it hadn't been for top gear. I wouldn't have bothered watching BBC1 just for Sherlock, it has no appeal at all to me.
