I see the OWS have published the posters to be stuck around our various communities! I think on this Forum, we must be able to cover the whole of the county, as we must have someone from every town/area! I will certainly be doing Oundle unless anyone else on here from Oundle would like to help? ;)
The only snag is they've published the prices. Now, I'm not an advertising expert but surely you're not supposed to publish the main thing that will turn people away, £17 for an adult, I'm lucky I'm 17!
Won't football fans from Oundle be more inclined to attend Peterborough matches? It may cost £3 more to get in but they are in division one with a winning team scoring lots of goals and they now have Lee Tomlin to entertain them! ;) They also have games against Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton, and Charlton to look forward to, mind you we do have Grimsby, Mansfield, and Darlington to entertain us.

Only if they are prepared to watch footie in a c**p stadium. ;)
True very true, but as the football is played on the pitch and not on the terraces I'll wager that Keith Cousins would rather have the takings from the next game played at London Road than that at Nene Park. It's all well and good having the best ground in non-league but shiny seats won't get punters through turnstiles as effectively as exciting football will.

Yep, I go to a lot of Peterborough games (however I always go in the away end ;) ) and there is a pretty even split here between Rushden and Peterborough. In my year there's 7 proper RDFC fans and 9 proper Posh fans. 5 years ago, we were in a better position so!

In my opinion, the best place to advertise these posters is in schools and colleges, if you get a 10 year old wanting to go, then you would also get their parent's going. People who see the posters in school may also want to bring their friends along.
Also just a quick idea to boost ticket sales. I don't know if they do this already, but RDFC should introduce family deals. For example 2 adults 2 kids for £20.
