"Brain of R&D" quiz

Post by Pete »

I'm putting together a quiz that runs through the season on Radio Diamonds involving Rushden-related questions. I've done it with other presenters on the station but I've always intended eventually to do it with fans and as they say there's no time like the present. So if you're going to be in the ground at 1415-ish, especially if you have a mate you reckon you know more about R&D than (for you to play against), then give me a shout on here and we'll do it tomorrow at the game, and then I'll clip it and put it up on here for people to listen.

I can't recall the club having something in the past where someone can officially claim to be the club brainbox, so hopefully if this takes off then one smart individual can take the first ever title toward the end of the season.

Cheers,
Pete

Fantastic Idea. I always get to the ground late so probably can't participate but I'm sure it will be a hit!

I'm bumping this, prior to Saturday's game, in case anyone fancies a go. I know it's an effort to get to the ground half an hour early or so, but I think this could take off if we get a few takers.

And if not, then nothing ventured, nothing gained I suppose!

Just reply on this thread saying you want to, and then hopefully someone else will too (making two contestants!) and then I'll meet you both in the south-west corner of the ground under the Radio Diamonds studio/security box area, bring you up to the studio, and we'll play at about half two. As I said earlier, I'll clip it afterward and put it on here so everyone can listen back.

So, T.I.K., if you want to be #1, then all we need is one other person, or, if you want to make it super easy, just someone you're coming to the game with... if you're not coming alone, of course.

I've also written an article for the programme talking about Radio Diamonds in general and partly plugging this quiz, so with a bit of luck that will also generate a some interest from people who don't come on here.

TwinkleToesTomlin & DrunkenDeBanker vs OsanoIsKing & Rdfc91

Tag-Team death match be there or be square.

Big Tim vs Stuart Little is the handicap undercard for the main event.
