Away Fans

Post by CalversonDiamond »

Just wanted to pass on a quick note of praise from Mrs Calder and Ken Wilde who i had the prevaliged to have dinner with on Tuesday Night along with some of the other Board Members ... They spoke to me about the away fans and said that we/you were all brilliant away from home and they where suprised how much noise we made if only in little Numbers !!

Just wanted to pass that on to all those who go to every away game no matter how far it is ... Your noticed and by the right people at the Club .. So in thier words Keep it up !!

:D :D :D

They've been very good in approaching fans in the bar/s before games. At Hayes & Yeading one of them started talking to me (didn't recognise him but he was with Calder/Beasant) and Calder gave me a thumbs up. At Eastwood also I saw them mixing with the fans.

Best do it now while we're on their side, eh? ;) Very good though I thought.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Be good if we were the same at home as we are away.. Oxford away in the play-offs for example, we out sang the home fans, and they even praised us after the game.
