With the recent heavy rainfall over the last 3 days will the pitch be fit enough to play tomorrow evening? :(

When I left Northampton last night it was chucking it down. It's rained here reasonably heavy all day in Luton - (25 miles max from NP as the crow flies?). It'l be a shame if it gets called off but if it is I hope they do it reasonably early.

One outbreak of rain all day in Oundle which is 10ish miles as the crow flies. Hope it's on...

It's been terrible in the north of the county and if the pitch wasn't draining the other Saturday I will be very surprised if it's draining at present. Is there anyone with access to the ground who can give us an update since more rain is forecast tomorrow?

I don't think it's the pitch not draining, but more so the drains not being unblocked.

I've heard from a reliable source that the drains at the ground used to get cleared every season. However, they have not been cleared for the past 4 or 5 seasons which has caused build up of stuff. Apparently, the club were made aware after the postponement a couple of weeks ago, cleared the drain and everything is fine.

Was this before or after the Bath home game? Do we now have a free draining pitch?

After. From what I was told, we should be ok now.
