Is anyone here a Hibs fan?
I know this is an extremely long shot, and my chances of finding a rushden fan that also supports Hibs are more than slim! But i'm in desperate need of two tickets to the Edinburgh derby on April 3rd, and can't buy them myself because i'm not on the database.

Phew! ;)
Enjoy the game, it's one of the matches I'd like to go and see one day.

Been a couple of times when I was living in Dundee and Inverness - great matches. Also seen 4 Tayside derbies and 3 Old Firm. Have seen the Manchester derby once and the East Anglian derby once as well - but nothing so far has ever compared to the Old Firm clashes - hairs up on the neck time that was!!ID wrote:Phew! ;)

I achieved my life's aim this season and saw a Diamonds-K*ttering game, but other than that I've never been to any good derbies. Although I did watch the East Anglian derby this season in a pub just down the road from the stadium, accomponied by someone claiming to be the leaders of the Norwich Hit Squad firm

Currently on the train to Edinburgh. Off to East Stirling V Queen's Park tomorrow weather permitting. East Stirling groundshare with Stenhousemuir. Then off to Hibs V Hearts on Sunday.
It'l be the fist Diamonds-Mansfield game i've ever missed so bit gutted about that, but looking forward to a good weekend!

Re: Is anyone here a Hibs fan?
Had an absolutely brilliant couple of days, and would reccomend everyone do something similar in their lifetime/s.
Seen some great football, some amazing scenary and some parts of the U.K i'd never have otherwise seen.
There's something different about Scottish football. The fans are so emotionally involved and act like they've won the FA Cup everytime they score. I've seen a game played on an artificial pitch, and my highlight of the weekend was the 92nd minute winner by East Stirling's Kevin Cawley (who by the way could do a job for us!) which prompted a rendition of 'knees up for the shire'.
Spoke to the East Stirling chairman, and a Leeds fan who came to the game for ''something different''. He was at the FA Cup tie against us at Elland Road.
All in all, an unforgetable weekend!
