He was a dead man walking so not the least surprised. Even Doyle and his chum on Radio Wobblers were speculating last night.

Worried not at all. JE had said that he wants to be here for a while. That's why's he's signed a long term contract.

The situation Cobblers are in right now calls for an experienced manager, and I think you'll see some relatively big names (in football league terms) in the frame.

They have money to spend, a squad that SHOULD be in the top 5/6, and a good fanbase at that level.

JE isn't the man for that job, and i'm not just saying that.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Cardoza has a bad record in appointing managers though, I think another bad appointment and they'll be looking nervously at the bottom of the table come next season.

Speaking of the Cobblers, when I got back on Tuesday I turned on the radio hoping for a JE interview (as if that would happen!), however all I heard was the presenters bemoaning the Northampton performance and highlights of their match. I don't know if anyone else has heard him during the season but Terry Angus seems to be trying to get progressively more and more excitable as the season goes on. Hearing him scream "It's an equaliser, yessss!" before realising it had been disallowed was definitely a LOL moment. I think he'll explode before the season's out.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.
