ASK: Michael McElhatton

Post by Diamond Warrior »

Hi all,

As most of you know, I'm at University studying Sports Journalism. I've been in contact with Macca and he is willing to do an interview with me - sort of a 'Where are they now?' thing.

Obviously I've got some of my own ideas what to ask, but have any forum members got any questions they would like me to ask him?

Many thanks :)

Have you ever played for Clapham?

Have you ever had the chance to "whoop" Brasil?

You were involved in both games against Leeds, what was your abiding memory of those games?

What do you consider your greatest achievement in football?

Do you still follow the fortunes of R&DFC from afar?

I, and many others, feel you were a real talent, possibly one of the most talented midfielders this club has had, and were gutted when you retired. How did you feel when you realised you could no longer continue as a professional footballer?

What have you been doing with your life since leaving R&DFC?

Do you keep in touch with any of your old Diamonds team mates?

Will you have my babies? ;)

My usual question:

Best moment in a Diamonds shirt.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

One Dale Roberts.
