Scunthorpe / PC-H

Post by Formic »

Scunthorpe sacked their manager last night -

I'm not sure how this affects our chances of extending PC-H's loan - althgough I guess the issue of the transfer embargo may also need to be considered.

I'm not too sure how bad his knock was last night - but with Michael Gash also picking up a knock we are going to be struggling up front on Saturday if Aaron O'Connor and Ryan Charles are still unavailable.

The only 2 players i could think of are Faz and Nabill, but personally i dont think that either of should start, but they may need to. :?

Johnson has looked ok upfront when he came on at Wrexham and at Grimsby, those 2 games are the best I've seen him play. He may have to be our (temporary) answer to the problem. Would certainly start him over shariff who I don't think is ready yet.

Simeon Jackson isn't having the best time in Norwich, and with Mackail-Smith potentially moving there causing more opposition for his place, maybe Lambert will be looking to loan him out? ;)

When does his Deal Actually run out with us ? According to the OWS he join us a month ago today so im asuming he'l be heading back as soon as if we havent got our embargo lifted ....

I'm not sure if the embargo prevents us from renewing existing loan deals, if indeed it is still in place. I was speaking to Paul Driver at the fans' forum and he said they would try to extend the loan deal after the initial month if possible.
