Owners on Forums. Good or Bad?

Post by Oundle Diamond #2 »

Being part of this forum certainly makes you aware of how many questions us as fans have, me included.

I know any questions we have can either be sent by e-mail or via a meeting, but it seems so many questions from so many people are the same, would anyone see it being a positive thing to have them being part of this forum? Any questions us as fans have could be answered, where many can see what the owners are saying etc!

It made me think, but I know there are definite issues. I know Ladak has done it at K*ttering. I think that it could be probably viewed as a bit unprofessional. You then have the issue of that if people know the owners are on the forum and have seen them answer questions, they may ask questions the Owners do not want to talk about and may ignore, which could create more doubt.

I'd guess that the general consensus of people would say they would be against it happening, but any thoughts either way?! It's a nice debate to have, probably better than chatting about the current doom and gloom.

I think I personally would like to see a moderated/controlled thread where supporters can ask questions and the Owners could reply either privately or publically.

Sure they can have a look, but there's nothing more unproffessional than a chairman using a fans foru.

Sadact is the perfect example of why they should not do it.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

God no, unprofessional in the extreme. Make properly worded statements not postings on an unofficial forum.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

I dont see a problem, i bet every club would like to see a chairman trying to make an effort. They are getting the fan side of whats going on and can address it straight away.

As said already, no, it would be unprofessional as Ladak at K*ttering has shown.
