Wish I could be there, but no chance of that I'm afraid. Obviously I realise what the meeting is for, but what specifically is going to be discussed tonight?

That's the million dollar question ! The first thing the meeting will need to do is appoint a chairman and agree an agenda if it has any chance of being productive.
