mass protest!!!!

Post by discodunk »

right, ive had enough of all the rumors and gossip.......this is my dilema....im born and bred in iboro, and supported iboro diamonds,i now live in rushden, and went with the merger(which was hated by both sets of fans)i even went to watch ktfc and my son plays for ktfc youth, what is so bad about the merger that both sets of fans hate it so much?,im sorry but it has to happen so as to continue football in this area......the biggest flaw i see in maxs dream was building nene park,,,there was never going to be the fan base(i will say thanks max as he created so many great memories)
rdfc have told us nothing........the meetings are inconclusive, nothing definate has come from them!!
i find it ironic that most of the upto date info has come from talking to ktfc fans and web sights!!!.have you seen the state of the front of the ground in the last few weeks, grass needs cutting, hedges need sorting, etc, etc,,,,,great advert to a (maybe )buyer,,,,,,,
the trust are still after money,,,,,,im sorry i dont have any more to give!!!!!and there is always talk of awareness in the press ,telly ,radio.......... why not protest /support outside the ground....im sure people within the club wont want that,it only needs to be for a couple of hours .500 fans ,,massive impact......when we go to the meetings i get the feeling that all the answers have already been rehersed..........TIME TO CATCH THEM UNAWARES......PROTEST!!!!!!

We could even arrange the time and place on here, that would catch them unaware

Seriously though, it's been widely acknowledged that the Beasants are giving the Club a wide berth, there are very few staff at the Club now anyway and it's closed for a week now. I'm not sure what we'd actually achieve by doing it?

DD you say alot of how I feel, I cant see that awaiting info from the current owners is healthy for the club based on their past performance, their style of management leaves alot to be desired and I have to say they could not have been vetted enough in the sale process.

Can anyone say if we have raised enough cash or cyber money to sTISFY Cloverdale, or HMRCS, I think I know the answer to that and hats off to the trust/fans for reaching deeper and deeper into thier pockets.

A firm statement telling us that owners have gone/are going with a date would be sure to generate more energy and potential investors.

I find it difficult to accept that the given level of creditors is still not known - even the man on the Clapham omnibus knows if he has cash to spend or bills to pay - this has to come down to competency.

Lets be kind and say its all been down to incompetence - but there must be accounts showing the true situation, surely, there must be - especially by now !!

I've always felt that us, the fans, raising enough money to save the club on our own was beyond us, but a futile gesture? No way !! If we can show there are enough people interested in investing in the club we may attract someone to pump money in to work with the fans to save it.

Personally I think a protest is a waste of effort, what would it achieve by turning up at an empty stadium to shout a lot?

I think that a lot of work has gone on by a lot of dedicated people and they all have my thanks for the effort they have put in. I hope enough has been done to attract someone to the club, it'd break my heart to see NP either used by the scum, or fall into decay over the coming years.

I'm keeping everything crossed that someone, somewhere, is preparing an offer - I remain optimistic and truly herald the efforts of the fund raising team - they've been tremendous !!
