When we see British Gas announcing huge price rises this week, we wonder how they allow such huge debts to be built up by institutions like R&DFC – and the impact on their business of the monies they lose in defaults like this. I wonder whether they are prepared to help investigate the causes of these debts. (I also wonder whether they will allow such debts to be incurred again at Nene Park when they start negotiating with familiar faces, but I guess that is a problem for the new regime).
