Questions need to be asked at the FA about how they allowed this situation to occur. They claim to have a “fit and proper person” test to avoid football clubs falling into the wrong hands. I’m sure many creditors saw this as some kind of assurance they were dealing with the right sort of people.
(I also wonder whether they will pay more attention to the board of KTFC given there may be a number of people who involved who were also involved in recent times with a club that suffered one of the few demises of ex-football league clubs in the past half-century).
