More pre season friendlies for AFC Rushden and Diamonds

AFC Rushden and Diamonds have arranged two further pre season friendlies

Saturday 6th August Raunds Town V AFC Rushden & Diamonds (at Kiln Park Raunds 3pm). All fans are welcome to come down and watch our first match at Kiln Park.

Saturday 27th August Luton Town V AFC Rushden & Diamonds (at Ely Way, Luton 11am)

Remember the fans forum is on tuesday 9th August at Raunds Town, AFC Rushden and Diamonds is your club , come and get involved.

Current Pre Season friendly fixture list: -

Saturday 6th August Raunds Town V AFC Rushden & Diamonds (at Kiln Park, Raunds 3pm)
Thursday 11th August Wellingborough Whitworths v AFC Rushden & Diamonds (at Wellingborough Whitworths) 7.45pm
Wednesday 17th August AFC Rushden & Diamonds v Thrapston Town (at Wellingborough Town) 7.45pm
Saturday 27th August Luton Town V AFC Rushden & Diamonds (at Ely Way Luton 11am)

Great news. Will the Raunds game be against a 1st/ressies team? I was under the impression that they didnt have an under 18's team.

it will be a Raunds Reserve team, as a welcome to Raunds game, i think it will be great for everyone.

Excellent news, only a week to go for our first game and at Kiln Park

Will be interesting to see what sort of attendance we'll get for this first one, people will probably be more interested in the senior side next year but hopefully a few 100 will turn up for this one.

Gutted that I'll be on holiday for our first match...Quite nice to see Luton Town Vs. AFC R&D though!

A price hasn't been agreed yet, we'll be speaking to Raunds during the week and will announce this in due course.

It will be Raunds reserve side (their first team have an away friendly at the same time) which will consist of predominantly youth players.
