Before anyone asks why we didn't know - I understand it was a behind closed doors game on Starms request.

They played 3x30 minutes and fielded a whole host of players.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Was this Rothwell reserves or U18's?

Crackin' start - who says pre-season U18 football is meaningless, conference here we come :)

it technically wasnt an official game, pretty much a trial

Well blow me down i never knew they changed the rules of Football and that 30 min training games were now official matches, them Blatter and Platini blokes have a lot to answer for :shock:

It was another players trial, but it had been requested to be "closed doors". As others have said was a trial of another 20-30 odd players, a number of whom have been to some of the previous trials, as were highlighted on the site. The next training session is on Thursday at Raunds Manor 5:45-7:45 as I recall. The squad is still taking shape.

Then it's onto the Pre-Season friendlies - as per the poster >> here <<

So posting this on here was just pointless if it was a training session?

I think the Diamonds fans have been informed and then mis-informed too many times and posts like this should be thought about prior to posting!
