Is there a match on tomorrow????
Cos I just looked in on the Eastbourne Forum and all they can talk about is their match with Luton Town at the weekend, they're peeing themselves with excitement - someone ought to remind them they have a little matter if meeting us first eh??

I wonder if they realise that we're actually ahead of Luton in the table.

I'm bringing a mate for the first time tomorrow, mainly because he has a car and i haven't got a lift ;) , but i'm a bit worried it is going to be embarrassing.
A crowd of barely 1000, probably no atmosphere, and potentially a tricky game, I know we are on good form but I don't get complacent, and we have a pants record on evenings this season - 1 win from 8 evening games i make it.
I know it is difficult for people but I'd love it if we could get a good atsmosphere going tomorrow and hopefully the boys will match it on the pitch. I used to look forward to evening games more than any but now I found them a bit of a pain in the arse.

The games against Luton are everyone else's Cup Final's though so it's understandable. Luckily we've already won the Kenilworth Road Cup Final so we're not so worried. ;)PigmanRDFC wrote:Cos I just looked in on the Eastbourne Forum and all they can talk about is their match with Luton Town at the weekend, they're peeing themselves with excitement - someone ought to remind them they have a little matter if meeting us first eh??

Wat was your mate's opinion Steve and more importantly, will he return? :roll:Steve wrote:I'm bringing a mate for the first time tomorrow, mainly because he has a car and i haven't got a lift ;) , but i'm a bit worried it is going to be embarrassing.

Despite him being an Arsenal fan who goes to Peterborough regularly, he is actually interested in coming on Saturday as P'Boro are away. I told him it would be a much better atmosphere and hopefully better game on Saturday.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Wat was your mate's opinion Steve and more importantly, will he return? :roll:Steve wrote:I'm bringing a mate for the first time tomorrow, mainly because he has a car and i haven't got a lift ;) , but i'm a bit worried it is going to be embarrassing.

Well sold Steve! If we all did this we could double the attendance. But not for me i have no friends!Steve wrote:Despite him being an Arsenal fan who goes to Peterborough regularly, he is actually interested in coming on Saturday as P'Boro are away. My 3 old mates, who retuned to Diamonds, after years in the wilderness, said it was good, but still not the same as when they supported them, back in the day. Two of them are still coming on Saturday though!

Good work by you chap! We all must know some "old boys" who we could maybe tempt into returning for some of the remaining fixtures!? :roll:BringBackDuane wrote:My 3 old mates, who retuned to Diamonds, after years in the wilderness, said it was good, but still not the same as when they supported them, back in the day.
