AFC R & D -v- Daventry
Tomorrow night, and we're commemorating the 12 month passing of Dale Roberts with a minute's applause. Hope we get plenty of fans along to this one.

I can't be there tomorrow sadly as I have another commitment, but I've already bought my Dale Roberts sticker please make sure you do and lets boost the Memorial Fund - I'll be thinking of you all at 7.44pm as you applaud Dale's memory, hopefully I'll get the chance to do so in person at the Olney game on the 15th !!

Well done to the hardy 180 or so, not sure exact numbers on a very cold night.
Daventry made it very difficult but credit to the lads for sticking to the task and getting a win

Agreed. It was bloody freezing!! It was a scrappy game but all credit to the lads for getting through to the next round.bozzer wrote:Well done to the hardy 180 or so, not sure exact numbers on a very cold night.

We have actually played a lot better than this and lost, but did attack them well in the last 15 to 20 minutes , well done Mark etc and the lads a win was important

I agree, I thought we looked a little off form. Maybe a couple of defeats on the bounce affected confidence? A win's a win though, but I thought Daventry had some good chances as well.STAGMAN wrote:We have actually played a lot better than this and lost, but did attack them well in the last 15 to 20 minutes , well done Mark etc and the lads a win was important
