Tomlin
Tomlin
Question, mainly to play devils advocate, but does he come stright into the team? Having not been at the ground i dont really know how we played, but it sounded as if we struggled to create anything, and the game was won by a fantastic strike! Does he come in for Farrel? Or not...

Yes.
To be fair, i think it would be harsh to single anyone out immediately after a result like that, but i thought Craig Farrell looked a bit out of sorts at times.
The fact is Tomlin can and always creates something out of nothing.

I think he comes on for O'Connor. Seemingly no end product these days. Plus I don't appreciate players who scream "f***!" when they see they aren't being substituted.. Wtf do you think you're paid to do?! PLAY.

Re: Tomlin
Farrell didn't contribute much today so I expect Tomlin to replace him against Oxford.
Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building.

That's quite worrying that he'd have an attitude like that.DiamondsFan wrote:I think he comes on for O'Connor. Seemingly no end product these days. Plus I don't appreciate players who scream "f***!" when they see they aren't being substituted.. Wtf do you think you're paid to do?! PLAY.
If anything I'd expect a player to yell f*** when they saw they were being taken off. :?

O'Connor ran himself into the ground today, no complaints from me.

Fair enough - I'm not taking anything away from him as I wasn't there and he seems to have been greatly improved of late. Was just very surprised with that reaction.
However, I guess if he was absolutely knackared, it might be understandable!

I didn't see it so I can't comment, but I do want to say it was fantastic to see the way the team celebrated the goal, with Dale running up to join in. Just shows what a fantastic team spirit we've got atm!

Re: Tomlin
Couldn't agree more with this ^ ^. Was talking to a mate in strikers today and we asked the same question, Tommo always can give that extra quality to a game and although i think Fazza works very hard, Az was fantastic today imo, his work rate was second to none, and i thought J-lo held the ball up quite well as well. Fazza out, Tommo in for me on Tuesday.BartonRaz wrote:Yes.
