Help Wanted - Digital Copies of IDFC and RTFC logos

Post by AndyKirkup »

Does anybody have a reasonably good digital copy of the Rushden Town or Irthlingborough Diamonds logo (or preferably both) please.

Please PM me or post them here.

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks Mad Dog - your images actually raise a question, what is the definitive version of each team's badge?

Googling around I've seen a few old programmes as above (both with and without the football in the RTFC one) and in this image:

The RTFC badge has a scroll underneath whilst the Diamonds one is in a blue circle.

Maybe the answer to the question is simply that the clubs used several versions over the years? I wonder if a couple of our more *ahem* mature forum members could advise?

Have you noticed how the cross-keys on the Irthlingborough Diamonds and RDFC badges face downwards to hell, whereas the correct way is as per AFC R&D badge is facing the correct way ie upwards to heaven. ;)
