Re: NEW FRIENDLY FIXTURE
wow, I remeber that game, was it a boxing day or new years day fixture? I remember being freezing cold stood on that old crumbling concrete terrace at Nuneaton. Incidently, am I right in thinking that that ground is no longer there. I drove through Nuneaton about a year ago, and it looked like houses were where I remember the ground being.

Re: NEW FRIENDLY FIXTURE
That was the boxing day game which we drew 1-1. Jacko scored a belter from 20 yards before Nuneaton equalised late on. The one mentioned in the preview was a 2-1 victory at Nene Park, Brady and Darby scoring the goals amid all the 'Talbot Out' protests!ChorltonV wrote:wow, I remeber that game, was it a boxing day or new years day fixture? You are correct that the Manor Ground is now a housing estate.

Re: NEW FRIENDLY FIXTURE
It's not too bad in Rushden. Just came from Wellingborough, not raining, but wet.PigmanRDFC wrote:Looks like being a cold and wet night if the weather here is Bedford is anything to go by?
