Crawley Town / Transfer Deadline Day
Yesterday Matt Tubbs signed for Bournemouth for a fee believed to be £800k.
Today Peterborough have bid just shy of £2m to take Kyle McFadzean and Tyrone Barnett.
If they take that, plus the money from the FA Cup runs last season and this, I reckon they must be running a very tidy profit. Incredible really considering the amount of money they've thrown at it themselves.
Just need some good scouts and a rich backer willing to take a gamble and look what can happen.

Not really. What Raz is saying is that despite the fact they've thrown millions into the club, they're probably still making a profit. We didnt! In fact all the players we made a profit on, were sold for far less than what we could've got IMOtherushden wrote:been there, done that.

I've never really liked crawley town, but fair play to them, i just tend to think that it'll go wrong for them as seems to happen to most of the clubs who come into money

Ridiculous from Crawley. I'd have taken the money and run for hills. Not a chance in hell either player is worth £950k.

having money doesn't mean you'll get anywhere, or win things. it's a gamble that very rarely pays off. much as i detest their manager, he seems to get results.
