Darlo
Re: Darlo
Team relegated from BSP in a fantastic stadium they can no longer afford. Sound familiar??
Wherever Darlo play next season, it`ll be outside of town and will immediately alienate a lot of their fanbase. Feel sorry for them :|

'Among the grounds being discussed are Shildon, Bishop Auckland and West Auckland, with the later understood to have the support of several of the interim board members'.
Re: Darlo
All northern league teams, so its going to be one hell of a difference, from a premiership standard stadium to a tiny ground with a few 100 seats, and thats if any of those are BSN standard as well, they may have to drop a few leagues.Trek wrote:From the Northern Echo:-dazSRJFC wrote: Wherever Darlo play next season, it`ll be outside of town and will immediately alienate a lot of their fanbase.

Re: Darlo
I think we should play a pre-season friendly against them, as we'll be up that way for Dale's Memorial match, which I believe will be in County Durham this year?

I think the DR memorial match is for Youth teamers so are you suggesting we take a senior team up on the same day?TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:I think we should play a pre-season friendly against them, as we'll be up that way for Dale's Memorial match, which I believe will be in County Durham this year?

Could do, if the games were on the same day the club could go up on a 52 Seater. The fans could either make a day/weekend of it.
