Team relegated from BSP in a fantastic stadium they can no longer afford. Sound familiar??
Wherever Darlo play next season, it`ll be outside of town and will immediately alienate a lot of their fanbase. Feel sorry for them :|

From the Northern Echo:-

'Among the grounds being discussed are Shildon, Bishop Auckland and West Auckland, with the later understood to have the support of several of the interim board members'.

All northern league teams, so its going to be one hell of a difference, from a premiership standard stadium to a tiny ground with a few 100 seats, and thats if any of those are BSN standard as well, they may have to drop a few leagues.

I think we should play a pre-season friendly against them, as we'll be up that way for Dale's Memorial match, which I believe will be in County Durham this year?

I think the DR memorial match is for Youth teamers so are you suggesting we take a senior team up on the same day?

Could do, if the games were on the same day the club could go up on a 52 Seater. The fans could either make a day/weekend of it.

A messy weekend in Newcastle! Sounds like a plan!
