Today (Tuesday 5th June)
Due to work and other commitments I've not been able to organise anything down at the ground these past few days, so apologies for the delay and for the short notice of this announcement. But if anyone is free for a couple of hours this morning I will be unlocking the ground and taking advantage of the fact we have a dry morning forecast, so I'll be doing a bit of painting.......possibly on my own, but I'll be doing some anyway. I do have a few other volunteers coiming along to do various tasks, but its the painting of the buildings I'm focusing on at the moment. If any of you can join me that would be great.
I haven't had the time to send out emails to all the volunteers, so sorry about that, but hopefully a few of you will see this and be able to join me.
I'm aiming to be down at the ground about 9.30am but need to be away by 11.30am, but that doesn't stop anyone from carrying on if they wish as they will be able to lock the gate up after them, getting in the site is the issue.
Anyone who can come and has ladders, please bring them, we're struggling to get the top of the building done at the moment. We do have a few rollers and brushes, but if you can bring your own that would be great.
I will try and email all the volunteers, probably tomorrow, with some idea of how to gain access to the site, especially during the daytime for those that have spare time then - but sadly the weather forecast this week isn't looking great.
See those of you who can make it in an hour or so.

Re: Today (Tuesday 5th June)
Another nice session done by the volunteers/ members at the ground today. The clubhouse re-paint is going well and we have the paint and some equipment so if we can get a few more bodies down there for an hour or two every week (yes, that's all you need to do), we'll soon have the jobs done. Come on everyone, it's YOUR club and by going down there you can be a part of its re-birth and history.

Re: Today (Tuesday 5th June)
I wonder if the B&Q across the road would help out, and give some stuff for free? (and possible sponsorship for next season)
