Dog and Duck

Post by Stalin »

I've been out of the loop recently with regards to Diamonds news, only really had time to laugh at K*ttering's plight

What is the situation with the Dog and Duck, I see below there's a thread asking for help at the ground; are we simply ground sharing or is there more to it, fixing doors and having a Bar named after Dale suggests is not simply ground sharing.

Did I read somewhere that the ground needed work to keep it up to UCL standards?

For full details you're probably bettter off asking on the Members' forum, but yes it is just a groundshare - the work is simply that both clubs are working together to improve the facilities which currently means sprucing up a couple of portakabins which were donated to AFC R&D, one of which will be a bar named after Dale.

No-one in the UCL knows whether their ground will be compliant yet because the FA are yet to release the ground grading regs for 2012/13 but indications are that there will be a few bits of tidying up to do for a number of clubs.

Wasn't there a fire at the Dog and Duck ground last season?
