Thursday 21st June
Thursday 21st June
Our first game is gradually creeping up on us and I'd like to put the call out to anyone interested in being a matchday volunteer to come down to a meeting to be held at the ground next Thursday, 21st of June, starting at 7.30pm.
The kind of jobs that need doing on matchdays include stewards, programme sellers, turnstile operators, shop/bar/refreshments staff, raffle/ticket sellers and post match cleaners/rubbish collectors. No experience necessary, full training will be given.
Last year was a brilliant effort from everyone, thank you again for all your hard work, but this season we have even more to do so really would appreciate any help you would be able to offer. We are aware that you're all fans and don't want to miss the match and many positions will enable you not to miss anything and nobody should miss very much of a game at all. The more volunteers we can get the more we can spread the workload and the less we will need to call on you to help out. So it really is in all our interests to get as many of you down there next Thursday as possible.
We are also introducing Volunteer Reward Points, which is our way of giving you something back for all your efforts. The more you volunteer, the more points you will earn which will give you an increasing discount at the club shop (up to 30%!!). More on this on it's official launch on July 1st.
Whether you're a new or existing volunteer please come down to the ground next Thursday, 21st at 7.30pm and help build the next exciting chapter in our clubs history.
If you can't make the meeting but would like to help out in some way then please email me at chas@afcdiamonds.com

Re: Thursday 21st June
I can't make the meeting due to work commitments, but I'm sure I can be of use during matchdays. Even I know how to pick up rubbish ;)
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
