Six Pack

Post by stamboy »

Just a quick note to say I think this is a great idea as not everyone can attend all matches and it also saves people having to keep queuing to buy tickets. Another advantage is that the club gets money in advance which helps with budgeting, etc.

Got my membership but now want to buy a Six pack or two....so.....

Three Questions

1 Are Six Pack cards separate to membership cards

2 Do Six Pack Cards get "re-charged" after you've used it up or is the Six Pack credit either on the Six pack Card or Membership card?

3 Is there going to be a facility to buy 6 Programme credits at the same time as buying 6 match credits?

Ok 4 Questions....

4 Any chance of adding charging the card with 4 packs not 6 packs in the shape of beer credits??? :P

Hi stamboy, in answer to your questions:

1. If you're a member 6 packs are credited to your membership card, so should show up when it gets swiped. We didn't want people to have to carry around lots of different cards. If you're not a member then you will be able to buy a separate 6 pack card.

2. Again if you're a member any 6 packs will be credited to your membership card and yes we can recharge a spent 6 pack card if one was being used by a non-member. We would also collect them to recycle and re-use if the person didn't want to hang on to it (although obviously not if it's on your membership card).

3. It was discussed, in fact it was built into the sytem, but it was decided that it was overcomplicting things for now. But no reason why it couldn't be introduced during the course of the season if demand was there.

4. Sorry, Pigman and Duke have already pre-ordered all beer credits.

Sorry, just to clarifty. I have a membership card and if I but 6 credits online they'll be credited to my card when I go and swipe my card at the ground. Is my undertsanding correct?

Not quite.

Your card is essentially dumb - it simply identifies you so all that it tells the swipe card reader is "I am Stamboy".

The clever bit like loading on 6 pack credits etc is all done by the rest of the system.

Therefore when you buy 6 pack credits they are instantly credited to your online account. Then when you swipe your card and walk through the turnstile, a credit is taken away.

Does that help to explain?

Hi Andy,

It does help and to be honest I was hoping it was that way as I think it's better.

Fancy techno stuff, light years ahead of the old system.

Well done everyone involved.

Off for a six pack now........

Cheers

Hi,

Is it possible for me to buy 2 x 6-packs online and have them allocated to 2 members accounts?

I'd like to get one for me and my wife.

Thanks
