Do we know if the tv is 47 inches rather than cm's yet?

47cm's is 19 inches. 47 inches is chuffing big, from what I remember the box isn't big enough to be 47 inches but we will confirm

I agree it's a big difference, it's just that tv's are always quoted in inches so wanted to check to see if a typo or not.

I've never heard of a tv being described in cm's. 14", 22", 26", 32", 40", 42", etc, etc are all inches.

Just looked back on the emails when we first put the draw together and it's descirbed as

Toshiba 47cm Widescreen LCD Digital Television.
