.......setting off for an AFC Board meeting, the sun is shining, the football has started and all is well with the world - I've a feeling it's going to be a happy meeting

I will put out a call for match day volunteers though - as the new season creeps ever nearer I know we're in great need of people to help out on match days/evenings to help spread the load. Duties range from staffing the turnstiles to stewarding duties, maybe helping out behind the bar, or even picking up some litter after the match (this list isn't exclusive) we can find a job for anyone willing to help, even if its just for an hour or so. Please get in touch with me or Chas if you can help.

Remember - this is YOUR club, we're a community club, we need all the help we can get to make it all it can be, and all we ALL want it to be !! This week has shown the team is coming together nicely on the field, join the off field team and help this club fly

Just to say that the board meeting was a happy one

Just to reitterate what Piggers has said, the season is swiftly heading our way and there are still a few areas we need people to help with, one of the new one's being some helpers to put back divots and sods at half time, especially in the goal areas.
So if you are handy with a fork, lets us know 8-)
