Your defining memory of today?

Post by Bob's Bitch »

The one that made you smile the most or laugh the most or made you proud?

I'm going for hearing the record-breaking attendance and high-fiving quite a few people during the 2nd half. The singing in the bar before kick-off was awesome as well and seeing loads of Diamonds walk up to the ground.

Your turn! :D

The own goal was hilarious, but joe merrills goal was outstanding in my opinion...

Just being proud of wearing an afc shirt thinking this is what a saturday is all about, great weather, a thoroughly entertaining game and a group of supporters showing such passion... :D

when the record on the tannoy got stuck on '...sending out an S.O.S....' - though it was K*ttering's new theme tune. No, seriously, the second goal -what a shot - and just to be in a big crowd at a game again. It's only my second AFCR&D match but I'll definitely be there again -if ever we have another league game at home.

The whole day was great, popped into the cons club before the game for a drink, walked to the game.

Was great to see so many old and new faces, even my Grandad and Uncle attended!... and my mum and her bf, after keeping on at them all week to come along!

Weather was great, a great performance from the whole team, I could go on and on! :D

Was so proud to call myself a fan yesterday.

Oh, and the K*ttering result made the day, much better!! :P

It sounds like a game from the good old days of beer fuelled away trips.

One young lad went OTT as I saw him slumped against a wall with a paramedic tending to him, after the game. Hope he's ok, I'm sure I saw him in the Rose & Crown earlier that day.

I think the defining moment for me was walking around seeing so many people enjoying being at football on a Saturday afternoon.
