Vase Match @ Yaxley - Travel
As it looks like parking might be a problem I thought it might be an idea to have a thread where we can arrange a bit of car sharing. Peeps can whack up here if they have any spaces in their cars, or are looking for a lift and whereabouts they are.
I'm sure that anyone getting a lift would be only too willing to contribute toward the fuel or pay for the driver to get in.
It also means our carbon footprint will be a bit smaller.

Good idea.
Alternatively, I mentioned the public transport option on the preview. I think most fans could do the trip using Stagecoach buses (via Peterborough), in which case there appears to be a Dayrider Gold ticket for £10.80 which would cover the journey - and there is a group ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children at £18.10.

How close would that get you to the ground though? Are you just tlaking of the bus to Pete? My understanding is that Yaxley is on the outskirts so this would mean a local bus too would it not or is it walkable from an X4 drop-off point?Formic wrote:Good idea.

It's worth reading the match preview which will answer your questions. Stagecoach bus 7 runs from Peterborough to Yaxley, and there are two stops near the ground - the Holme Road one is the nearest. If you use Google Maps and zoom in to the local area it shows you the location of the bus stops - http://goo.gl/maps/1SXYRstamboy wrote:How close would that get you to the ground though? I'll have a couple of spaces in my car.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
