Well the dreaded fear of former League clubs could be about to strike again in the Conference.

And that's taking into account the parachute payment they receive this season from the Football League!

I'm afraid I fear the days of pro clubs in Non-league are numbered. The figures just don't add up unless you have a wealthy backer (like we had).

People won't accept paying £12-£15 for a Conference game anymore, which is why we are perhaps seeing a resurgence in our attendances, as £5 is great value for very decent footie!

Add in the fact that Under 16 members go free, harts No.1 and Haydn's burgers then why go anywhere else?

I remember the days of 18 pounds for Nene park ( I also remember the 3 pound days), what an absolute joke, it put me and MANY MANY people off, 5 pounds is spot on, and TBH, I don't think I would ever pay more than 10 pounds to watch any non league team.

Even if a majority of members voted for a admission fee of over £10?

I agree, the prices in the conference and what they were at NP are ridiculous. Even worse when you compare them with elsewhere, in the summer I only paid £20 to see Team GB at the Olympics at Wembley and that got me 2 games as well! And something even more ridiculous is that you can watch a top league game in Germany like Bayern Munich for less than a conference game
