Re: January Fixtures
Tough month, but I'm so pleased I can be at the Oadby game, that game could be absolutely huge, I know its still early days right now, but could it be us vs Oadby for 2nd spot this season? I guess Eynesbury and Bugbrooke would have something to say about that though.
Though its a shame we've got no New Year's Day game this year.

No game on New Year's Day would be a god send. More time to sleep off the horrific hangover!Olly wrote:Tough month, but I'm so pleased I can be at the Oadby game, that game could be absolutely huge, I know its still early days right now, but could it be us vs Oadby for 2nd spot this season? Jeez, it's only November and you've already conceded the title to Sileby.Olly wrote: .....but could it be us vs Oadby for 2nd spot this season

You obviously don't remember when we overhauled Yeovil and Hartlepool to win those two titles? We were 14 points behind the Monkey Hangers in early March and still pipped them to the title. ;)

Re: January Fixtures
It hardly seems worth making a note of these fixtures. I'd bet good money that a combination of bad weather and the UCL's policy of changing fixtures for the sheer hell of it will ensure that at least two of those four games don't go ahead on the dates given. ;)
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I know, but based on results, I still have a feeling it'll be Sileby's title, even at this early stage. And no I don't remember those two titles as I started supporting rdfc in late 2003 ;)Trek wrote:Jeez, it's only November and you've already conceded the title to Sileby.Olly wrote: .....but could it be us vs Oadby for 2nd spot this season![]()

And the fact that we'll be in the 4th Round of the Vase, obviously. ;)BartonRaz wrote:It hardly seems worth making a note of these fixtures. Re: January Fixtures
Yeah, hoping to see 5 games in my uni hols between 22nd December and 12th January, I'd be surprised if I get them all, all it takes is another cold snap like we've had in recent years and we'll barely play between mid-December and early February. Still think they should have scheduled a few more midweek fixtures in August/September, in preparation for the inevitable winter postponements.BartonRaz wrote:It hardly seems worth making a note of these fixtures.
