Poppies Fans
Poppies Fans
Three top blokes today pushed my car out of the mud I was stuck whilst trying to park - had a good banter with them walking to the ground - Funnily enough bumped into them after the game and they reckoned the ref had a poppies shirt on under his official one - great to be able to have a bit of a laugh with the opposition rather than shouting insults at each other.

Not the same for me, unfortunately.
Was walking past the North Stand towards the Airwair and some lad pushed me and says "you've got a bit of shit on your shirt, mate" and his mate barged into me. If there wasn't 5 of them, the prick would have been sent on his arse. Sums up the majority of their support. Saw these lads getting ushered away by Police too after trying to start on another bunch of lads.

Uneducated and arrogant.
Read their forum, apparently our players were falling down all over the place, from what I could see it was the other way round. They won't make the play-offs they have nothing about them.
Calling our vocal support shite is fine, if theirs was any good. I've heard more noise in a ****ing library. 1000 away fans in that magnificant stand which amplifies the noise created and I could barely hear a song. Awful support.
Continous comments on the "poor pitch" what do these uneducated bunch of monkeys expect? Have they not been looking out of their cardboard boxes for the last month? SNOW AND RAIN. Game nearly called off today due to WATER-LOGGED pitch, what else do you expect??
With a bit of luck they'll go out of business, this isn't a rivalry for me, it's hatred.
Get bloody real.
Idiots.

I agree regarding the pitch, the weather in the past few weeks and months has been appauling and no wonder it's in such a state but as for the support, I expected them to be more vocal than they were but to be honest I felt they sang more than us anyway, thought we could have sang a lot more and I hope we make up for it and sing non stop when we visit their sh*thole of a ground.

Normally I would have a look at their forum to see their views on the game etc. I do with whoever we are playing before and after the game. I've not bothered for this game though because you know exactly what your gonna get - They spurt out the same old shit after every game they don't beat usRiK2006 wrote:Read their forum,

Every club has its idiots but for the most part they are just a minority. I also had trouble getting stuck in the mud when trying to park and was offered some help by some Poppies fans. When I picked up my car I also noticed how many of the cars parked around mine had K*ttering window stickers in yet there wasn't a hint of bother.

I always park further up the road on a grassy bit, I imagine if the myriad of cars who park there too also did it would get a bit muddy.Red Diamond wrote:Where did you park, in a field? :?diamond82 wrote:Every club has its idiots but for the most part they are just a minority. Re: Poppies Fans
Because we have had loads of rain didnt it make sense to park on a hard surface? Ie tarmac or blocks? There was plenty of car park spaces left in the car parks next to the bridge
