Almost February and we've only managed 16 league games - crazy!

Bugbrooke have only played 13 which must be the lowest in the country surely?

I noticed very early on in the NLP that our league was playing considerably less league games than other Step 6 leagues. They should really do away with the Junior Cup IMO.

The two minor cup competitions being at the same time as the Vase and FA Cup is clearly an issue - especially with them being played at weekends. That, and the weather, helped to create the bizarre situation with Northampton Spencer where they've only played 3 of their 18 home league games as we enter February.

Not surprised but still very disappointed, was really looking forward to this one (even if it did turn out like Oadby) and chances are won't be able to go to the rearranged game unless its in April.

I agree, but that's not going to happen unfortunately, though it would be nice if they scrapped the rule where games have to be played at the weekend, unless the home team doesn't have floodlights. Its frustrating that we may have to be in it again next season, no doubt we'll probably have a big home league game moved for an away game at a field in Ringstead or something

And Bugbrooke aren't the worst as far as I can see, Formby in the NW Counties Division 1 have only played 10 games going into February in a league with only one less team in it and their record shows that they should be title contenders, yet they're 8th with 9 games in hand over the team in 1st! Looking around the step 5 and 6 leagues, there's unsurprisingly many leagues where there's a 10 game or more difference between the the team that has played the most and the team that has played the least.

Buckland (Step 5) have only managed 14 league games, and that is with several midweek games played in last few weeks. This is mainly down to their decent runs in FA Cup (where they only lost 2-1 to Bath) and FA Vase.

Their local cup games have all been midweek, would be a disaster if they had to play them on Saturdays.

The only pluis point is that this now sets up a run of Wootton, Buckingham, ON Chenecks, Burton Park then Olney, all of which we should win with many goals!

not surprised but as nether Sunderland or the Cobblers have a game on saturday was going to pop over to The D&D it does seem that county cup games take priority over league games in not just the UCL but also the SL which IMHO is crazy

We're at home to Buckingham on the 5th Mackem - Cobblers are gameless. If the last game between the two teams is anything to go by it'll be a goalfest!

Table based on points average (better way of looking at the table IMO, because of the huge difference in fixtures played):

1. Sileby 2.68 (-)
2. Oadby 2.56 (-)
3. AFC 2.25 (-)
4. Bugbrooke 2.23 (+2)
5. Eynesbury 2.18 (-1)
6. Harrowby 1.83 (-1)
7. Spencer 1.78 (-)
8. R+H 1.6 (+1)
9. Thrapston 1.28 (+5)
10. Chenecks 1.19 (-2)
11. Whitworth 1.17 (+1)
12. Olney 1.15 (-1)
13. Rothwell 1.12 (+2)
14. Bourne 1.09 (-4)
15. Raunds 1 (-2)
16. Potton 0.82 (-)
17. Wootton 0.82 (-)
18. Buckingham 0.66 (-)
19. BPW 0.35 (-)

In our next 6 games (Wootton, Buckingham, Chenecks, Burton, Olney and Bourne) we really do need 18 points!
